Hi, Tiffany here! I’m excited to introduce you to my new newsletter, The Velvetstyle Viewpoint. Velvetstyle is my company, and Viewpoint is my perspective. In this newsletter, you’ll get my thoughts, updates, and insights on my planning life mixed in with some travel and reviews.

I don’t know about you, but I often overthink and second-guess myself, which usually results in not doing things. This newsletter was actually supposed to launch three months ago, but here we are. In December 2024, I decided to map out how I wanted the following year to go for me set some business, personal, and financial goals. Here is a quick snapshot so far:

This year, I’ve made it a goal to show up more online and share more about both my travels and my work in the event industry. I started livestreaming with a fellow event professional, and each time, it’s felt more natural and easier to do.

In December, I also accepted a contract role as a Senior Event Planner, managing high-value meetings across various cities. In just four months, I’ve already booked 20 meetings nationwide and am supporting four large-scale retreats in different U.S. regions.

It’s hard to believe how much has happened in such a short time—I’ve completed multiple event projects and traveled to four different destinations for conferences, site visits, and meetings with suppliers.
