If you’re planning a corporate or B2B event in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area and looking for a unique venue space, here is an option I experienced on my visit, while attending IPEC (Independent Planners Education Conference). You can read about my experience with two other hotel venues in Atlantic City here.

Closing Reception at the Renault Winery
The final dinner I attended during IPEC was held offsite at the Renault Winery. I must say, I would have loved to experience this venue during the day! The property offers so much, however, we weren't offered a tour, so I didn’t have the opportunity to explore all the available amenities. The Renault Winery, not only features a winery, but also has room accommodations, a golf course, and, coming soon, a spa! Keep reading on my take if it’s a good option for corporate events.

An Elegant Dinner Experience
After a 30-40 minute drive from Atlantic City, we arrived at the winery, ready for an evening of good food, wine, and networking. The venue was up a staircase, but the staff informed us where the elevator access was for a more accessible option.
Once we got to the venue, we were greeted by a beautiful champagne wall, featuring blueberry champagne that was absolutely delicious! Honestly, one of the best things about attending an event at a winery is knowing the wine is going great, and this place did not disappoint.
The dining room was set up with banquet rounds for a plated dinner, giving the space an elegant, yet inviting feel. A DJ played soft background music, setting a relaxed vibe while servers passed around appetizers. And yes, there was a full bar pouring wines straight from the winery, because what’s a winery dinner without enjoying the local pours?

The Main Course
The plated dinner was pre-selected and displayed on a custom menu. I appreciated that the server took the time to check with everyone about any dietary restrictions.
That said, I found the dinner menu a bit ambitious. One of the inclusions was a crab cake, which can be hit or miss since crab cakes vary in preference, and not everyone enjoys seafood. The entrée was a steak filet, unless someone expressed a dietary need. However, the server informed us that they didn’t take temperature requests and that all the filets would be served medium. They did mention that if there were any issues, we could request the steak be cooked longer.
While I always enjoy a creative menu, I think offering more approachable options or additional entrée choices would have been a better fit. Simple, crowd-pleasing selections often create a more enjoyable dining experience and ensure there's something for everyone to enjoy.
The banquet rounds setup allowed engaging conversation over dinner. As a seated dinner, I did find it odd that you had to go to the bar to refill your drink selection. It would have been nice to have an additional server to refill glasses, allowing for us to continue conversation uninterrupted.
Following dinner, there was a dessert bar that featured tasty treats. To close out the event, the Visit Atlantic City team delivered departing remarks and the evening wrapped up with a brief presentation from the Renault Winery team, highlighting the venue’s offerings and unique charm. Overall, it was a memorable night, blending delicious cuisine, engaging conversations, and thoughtful hospitality.
